インドネシア友好の夕べの目的は大きく分けると2つ述べられます.一つ目はインドネシア及び日本の伝統的な文化交流の場所になること.インドネシアは東南アジアにある島国であり、約300以上の民族から構成され、伝統的な文化が極めて豊富な国である.一方インドネシアはバリやジャワのといった民族だけが海外で人気があり、それをインドネシアの代表的な文化になってしまう.ですので、インドネシア友好の夕べを通じてインドネシアという国の伝統的な文化の多様性を中心として、披露することにする.更に、インドネシアの伝統的な文化に伴って、日本の伝統的な文化も披露することによって、文化を通じて、インドネシア及び日本の繋がりがより強くなることを期待し、最終的に日本とインドネシアの間の国際理解というものを得ることが目標とします.2つ目の目的は伝統的な文化交流を通じて、募金活動を行い、インドネシアの貧しい地域である南スラウェシ州ジェネポント県にある学校の支援を行い、インドネシアの教育の質の向上を目指します.具体的な計画としては、このインドネシア友好の夕べにおいて行う募金活動の金額は学校の設備の修理や、学生たちに教科書の提供などを行う予定です.

In MCI 2015, we have two main purposes, which are:

1. Hosting a platform to facilitate Indonesia's and Japan's traditional culture exchange.

Indonesia is the biggest archipelago in the world consist of more than 300 ethnic groups, each own their culture and tradition. Some of our cultures are world widely known (such as: Bali's Reog Ponorogo or Aceh's Saman dance), however not every culture of Indonesia has been exposed to the world. Thus,  through MCI 2015 we would like to promote Indonesia traditional culture diversity. In addition to that, we would like to have cultural exchange by perform some of Japan's traditional culture as well. Through this event, we expected stronger relationship between Japan and Indonesia.

2. Holding charity night to be donated into elementary school in Jeneponto, South Sulawesi, Indonesia.

Jeneponto, unfortunately, is one of poor region in Indonesia and need our support to improve the quality of education there.  We planned to renovate an elementary school building in Jeneponto using your donation. If the donation is not enough, then we will donate your donation in forms of educational books to enhance local schools library's collection.
